Justice Traps the Guilty #21 - Cover

More crime work from the Prize days by Simon&Kirby. I especially like the contrast these covers always have from the clean-cut and powerful cops with the grimy criminals, with a very different texture.

If you look at this 50's cover you can see all the element which made Kirby's superhero art so dynamic. The figures got a little more blockyer and dramatic but all the early poses are there. The way the officer is holding the gun on the right. The way the material on the clothes of each figure are a prelude of what is to come for Kirby's trademark style.
